Think of it as a reverse draft, who needs population control when we have widespread poverty

I've read we don't really get to overpopulation on a global scale till we get ten billion plus, then it mostly comes down to fresh water. Regionally, it would depend I assume

I think I follow the wolf and the deer theory, which is when they put the wolves in the nature reserve, it increased the number of deer, because the animals had better food, because idk theres a cool story about it. (saying it that way makes me think you could find a good moral argument for abortion, you just have to admit you are behaving like a preditor or a wolf's roll in nature)
Anyway, I figure, that when overpopulation becomes a problem, we have natural things in our behavior to slow our growth the same way as the wolf/deer nature reserve story. Like lower birth rates (hopefully not by destroying the babies but just because we have less sex when we have more toys) anyway, most places where quality of life is the highest, birth rates are the lowest, naturally, so I think that's an example of that so thats my personal take on OP not being a real issue.
if quality of life does not inrease but population does, they all eat each other, so either way there is a natural population governor built into us.
But that's just my take on that one, my take on abortion is a unique genetic code that is capable of being a human being = human being.
