I find John Oliver to be a funny guy, from way back in the day when he was a pimple faced goon on The Daily Show
Last Week Tonight leans heavily to the left, but its HBO and like Bill Maher's show, they rip apart both sides of the political spectrum
I watch it, and he's usually right
definitely exaggerates alot of things, but thats just TV sensationalism
