I notice that when it’s triple digits out, the percent of people that finish the advanced mountain trail hike I do every weekend drops to around 30%. Whereas when it’s winter it’s more like 80%. And the reason so many have to turn around in triple digit heat is they didn’t budget their water well. One bottle of water is not gonna cut it

Whereas me, I bring enough water for me and the leezards - gave a smaller female one some today. I could still do this hike in 110+ degree heat ez, except at that temp the rubber that holds my shoes together (such as the sole to the shoe) starts to melt/dissolve, and my phone can sometimes give an overheating warning
