Yes I support universal healthcare bud, but I would also make penalties for bad lifestyle choices. Or at the very least address their causes, like food deserts
I spent a quarter million on my brother in law’s rehab. I am aware of our system. And he only got on pills because he got into a car accident that wasn’t his fault and they gave them to him since nothing was working for his back pain. I will remember the pain management doctor here in Houston til the day I die
Luckily, my brother in law moved back to Kentucky and recently relocated to Lexington and loves it. He lives for college sports which is a much better addiction

well what i was getting at is that when you agree to address causes, there comes a point eventually when virtually everything can be traced back to the capitalism you yourself said you advance. which is why i asked about how the misery you escaped became miserable.
not to say people don't make bad choices sometimes, obviously they do. even in my magical utopian anarcho-communism people will make bad choices.
