Been so many years ago now, but IIRC when I was mid 40s monk I went to the arena for an event (on Live), only to get charmed by a high level and forced to attack others until I was dead. Fun times.
Today on P99 I went to the pvp area in Paineel with a mage, charmed his pet. It instantly poofed - Reclaim Energy style but without any mana return for him. I would assume the same thing would happen to a player necro pet if it got charmed.
