TLP's are hard for me to understand because I do not understand the core playerbase. The game I enjoyed, revolved around some very curious sorts of people. But the TLP core player base seems mostly about efficiency. As if that is a no-brainer.
Makes me worry about the state of today's younger gamer.

A lot of modern games (mobile in particular) just throw tons of progression systems with time gated garbage, login bonuses, FOMO inducing limited time events, and on and on.
It doesn't surprise me that the young'uns are trending toward efficiency when this is the kind of game they're exposed to. They either need to be efficient, or they miss stuff. I find myself getting caught up like that at times too, and I don't like it.
