I always wonder what the early days were like for those leading the way. Even though I played since launch, I was a kid who made a new character every 5 minutes, so I never really had a high level character until mid-way through Velious. I remember when Luclin dropped my friends and I were still farming Plane of Hate trying to get our Planar armor. It felt like most of the people on my server weren't actually seeing or doing most of the content in the game.
Could be that I was just on a weird server, but I really feel like it was a minority of players across all servers who were doing Fires of Heaven / Afterlife things early on. And that maybe that has been lost to time since there was no Youtube or Twitch back then? Of course on P99 forums though I've noticed that everyone claims to have basically been the best player in the world who completed all relevant content within days of it releasing, but I don't believe that.
