If starbucks paid employees in some kind of direct relationship with total growth, that growth wouldn't have happened in the first place because of static overhead costs. Also, nobody would become a plumber or an electrician if they can make fifty times more at starbucks. And then society doesn't function because there are no more plumbers or electricians, and I sure as shit don't want to learn how to be one.
Corporations making lots of money isn't just automatically evil and greedy; there are myriad other factors to consider.
