The FBI put an undercover agent with them who suggested the idea that they kidnap the governor and they agreed and that still wasn’t considered entrapment (or else it’s still being decided in court)

Supposedly there was a guy who people here might know, not sure if he’s fbi he might have been ex-fbi, who was caught on camera yelling “let’s storm the capital!” to a crowd before anyone went in or something on Jan 6, and the dude has some seriously good establishment connections because he was never charged with anything

Thomas Caldwell (ex-FBI) of the Oath Keeper apparently used the "Princess Bride Defense."

A federal grand jury in February indicted Caldwell and eight members of the Oath Keepers on charges of descending on the Capitol in “an organized and practiced fashion” to stop Congress from certifying the election of Joe Biden as president.

The Judge ordered Caldwell to stay out of DC and off computers and smartphones. He also said Caldwell needs permission from his probation officer to cross state lines to visit his doctor in Maryland.

“Make no mistake, Mr. Caldwell,” the judge told him, “if you violate my conditions, you will be back in jail very quickly.”
