I watch some channels like CharlieBo who walks through the worst ghettos and interviews gang members on pretty milquetoast questions like “what’s it like living here”, “what would you change about this”
and many times the teens and young adults mention they didn’t have a dad and other times the describe how OG gang members did stuff with them that you would normally imagine dad’s doing, like saying this is how you fight, this how you shave, this is how you pick up girls. OG gang members not only fill a huge void in their life, but they even groom them by buying them things. Here’s some drugs, check this gun out, you like this? It’s yours. Except now you gotta kill a guy
Single overwhelmed parent -> unsocialized (I don’t mean animals, just a bit of behavior problems) -> schools giving up on the kids due to behavior problems -> no education -> no jobs (not their fault) -> limited family = gang life

What do you propose about existing people who have fallen into this trap? Should there be reduced penalties for people who were indoctrinated into the so-called gang life and commit a crime?

The only reason I might choose my words more carefully is because people nowadays don’t want to just have a discussion, they want to ruin your life by trying to get you arrested, fired, etc. And other people’s inability to control their emotions or keep a conversation as just as conversation is not my problem, but something I do have to adjust to
It’s also a form of bullying. It’s like “I bet you wouldn’t say that because if you did I would hit you or try to get you fired. Haha I win”

If you are calling me a person who bullies conservatives online, I will gladly accept this honorable title
