If you live to old age, everyone you know is gonna be dead except, perhaps your great grandchildren who maybe visit you once or twice a year, your grandchildren will be busy raising those children without the time or energy to address the burdensome needs of their grandpa, your children will probably be dead from a sudden heart attack or some other "less than the average life expectancy ailment" and all your friends will be dead or so infirm mentally and physically that they might as well be. Also, they won't be looking for 90 year olds to go on interstellar journeys. Exactly none of "us" will be going on any of these journeys into a suicide booth in space.
