Dragged back in.
Alright after a long time away, it looks like I am going to be getting back into P99. They can put a man on the moon but apparently not create another MMO where people actually interact and play together. So here we are in 2024 back playing a 25 year old game.
Think I am finally going to play a Druid. I know there are a lot of them but I have always wanted to and never have. I'm playing a Half Elf because I think they look cool and I like it from an RP perspective min/max be damned.
Here are my questions:
1. The game crashes almost every time I camp. I read the tech forums and I know about switching compatibility mode but that causes a whole other set of problems. Anyone else know of a simple fix? Otherwise I will just live with it.
2. I see youtube videos where people seem to have a custom interface. How do you get that? I usually like to keep it classic but my old eyes can't read the large print at fontsize 5. My native res is 2k and I have to either play at 1080 or find some way to make the interface bigger.
Thanks to all. On the other hand, why oh why am I going to start feeding this addiction again?
