I forgot to ask. How do you swim? For me, sometimes W makes me swim up, sometimes spacebar. Half the time I spam them, neither work, and I drown lmao

The scroll wheel zooms in and out from first-person to third-person view. In first-person view, you can adjust the direction that your character is facing
vertically. In order to swim up, your character has to be looking up. So, zoom into first-person view, and then mouselook (hold right-click) and look up: you will now swim up and not drown.
The Page-Up and Page-Down keys also control your character's vertical facing, so you can control this without using the mouse if you prefer keys instead. This approach also works while in the third-person view.
