I played with this a bit more after the last post and was able to resolve it as a resolution issue, however my solution creates a new issue that I consider to be worse. Maybe there's a better way?
My solution was basically using a borderless fullscreen app (tried a few, they all seem to be essentially the same). First I made sure my WindowedWidth and WindowedHeight in eqclient.ini were set to my native monitor resolution (i.e. 2560x1440). Then if I use one of these apps (such as Borderless Gaming) to "fullscreen" the eq window, then these lines disappear.
However, my problem after this is that it seems like these apps stretch the UI elements visually, but not functionally. So what happens is that mouse clicks in the UI are a few pixels off--this seems to be worse near the edge of the screen. For example, clicking items in an inventory slot that I keep near the bottom of the screen will actually pick up the item that's in the adjacent inventory slot, if that makes sense.
This creates too much headache for me so I just deal with the few lines on the monitor. Maybe this'll work for you, or maybe there's another path here.
