I have followed the carnivore diet before a bit (just learning about it, not actually trying it), and the interesting thing is not even the best nutritionists and doctors completely understand how we can function with essentially no fiber (because there is none in the carnivore diet)

short chain fatty acids. my dr handed me a low fat low carb diet to correct my out-of-control blood work. i ask about keto diet (atkins diet at the time), he said he "believed in that". as long as i got enough protein.

My consensus I have come to in my limited research following a few different nutrition channels, and the fitness communityÂ’s feedback, is that the carnivore diet is sometimes great if particular specific things need correcting with someoneÂ’s health markers. But I donÂ’t think it is quite a perfect fit for all people

i have heard some people dont do well on keto diet. it does correct some markers will also move markers to places Drs dont like.

Most of the fitness community IÂ’ve followed that has tried it has stopped for various reasons
various reasons being bread, fruit, ice cream, alcohol. you need a real reason to stick to it and people telling you it is gonna kill you doesnt help.

takes months to adjust...a week on keto is BS torture with zero pay off except the usual 10-20lbs water loss reg low calorie diet will do
