I think going from max scowling to dubious is around 1500 faction points. This means 1500 kills at the absolute max. I highly doubt you start at max scowling, so it will be less than 1500. But I don't know the exact figure. If you get more than 1 faction point per kill, it will go faster too. I am not sure about that either. Most mobs only give 1 faction point per kill sadly.
Warrens is a great spot to gain XP, but I am not sure how easy it is if you are untwinked. Haven't tried a solo untwinked Warrens run. You could probably ask for an invis from another player or a dial-a-port so you can get to Warrens without needing to faction up first.
