I don't care about brewing at all, but there's no evidence in this thread that the brewing recipes were new, rather than undiscovered?
The evidence actually clearly says there were recipes in game that people just hadn't discovered yet; this is what developer Matt Yaney who leaked the Bog Juice recipe wrote:
