I think that's a reasonable update.
Should we as a community change the rules, everyone? Seems fair, but I haven't been as invested as some of the other solo artists since velious.

Personally I think outside buffs for melees is fine. In the case of OP, he didn't actually need Aego to finish the fight, as he never took like 3k+ worth if damage in a short time. The extra HP from Aego just saved him some Wort Pot money.
We would have to find a specific mob that would require the extra HP from Aego to clearly make the argument that OP or other melee solo artists actually needed Aego to win the fight as opposed to using Wort Pots. The idea would be to show it is not mathematically possible to kill this mob with the melee solo artist's existing max HP self buffed.
