In conclusion, while both Taoism and Buddhism offer profound insights and pathways to inner peace and a more meaningful existence, their approaches to understanding the world, dealing with suffering, and achieving spiritual goals differ significantly. Taoism focuses on harmony with the natural flow of the universe, while Buddhism focuses on overcoming suffering through understanding its causes and following the Eightfold Path.
i haven't studied it that deep like the actual differences between Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism..etc

"Shaolin monks are primarily Buddhist, specifically followers of Chan Buddhism (also known as Zen Buddhism in Japan). However, their practice also incorporates elements of Taoism, particularly in the development of Shaolin Kung Fu and Qi Gong."

I've only thought deeply about to the extent of "kung fu cool" and Taoism is the origin of the animal styles Wu Qin Xi which i had to google because i forgot.
