In Norrath’s twilight, where shadows weep,
I slumber deep, where ancient voices sleep.
A half-breed bard with song upon my lips,
In this eternal dream, I take my sips
From time’s endless cup, where moments blend—
A dream that holds no start, no end.
The stars are my company, the moons my friends,
I’ve seen the lives of mortals twist and bend.
From Freeport’s streets to the woodlands’ quiet glade,
I’ve watched them dream and fail, laugh and fade.
Then, oh—one day, your footsteps broke the air,
Like a melody sung by a forgotten prayer.
You—insignificant to the world’s cold gaze—
Walked toward a path through the misted haze.
A goal so lofty, absurd in its core,
A quest that others would scorn, ignore.
They said it’s madness, a fool’s errand through and through,
But something in me stirred, an ancient tune.
Ah, yes, I remember, I’ve known that fire—
The drive to chase that of which no other, to never tire.
A poet’s heart, an elven soul so wild,
How many dreams were cradled, and beguiled?
I watched as you trudged through the misty moors,
Not seeking fame, nor gold, nor countless stores.
Just... flowers...?? Foolish, yes. But oh, so true—
Something in that quest awakened something new.
Perhaps a glimpse of the waking world I’ve missed,
Or a nudge from my fates, a whispered twist.
Could it be that your journey is
mine to share,
A secret promise, spun in the air?!
I, the half-breed bard, who flirts with time,
Will follow you, without rhyme or reason, or crime.
Let me be the whisper in your ear,

The song that guides you through your fear.
If you succeed—if that flower blooms in your hand—
Who knows? Perhaps the dream will cease to stand.
Yet, darling, don’t be so rash, so sure,
For in this world, no end’s ever pure.
And if you fail, well, I shall be here—
Singing to the stars, and shedding a tear.
So go on, you lovely, mad-eyed fool,
Chase your dream, break the rule.
For I, your bard, may sleep forevermore,
But something tells me your quest... means something more.
