yeah everything i'm trying is in the under 40 dollars a bottle category, literal bottom/middle shelf and uses processes that actual whisky snobs fucking hate like rapid aging and "cheating" to get the proper/better taste notes in it like using a used oak barrel from the stuff they sell for $$$ then they throw this stuff in there for 6 months to get the same taste as stuff that's been siting for years and fine print like aged up to x years and blending newer with old to increase the volume
