Anyway I don't really have any complaints, I am just saying at its core, the DKP really doesn't effect the raid unless you are early in classic or something, so if I save up DKP for 3-6 months for my monk to get something I don't really feel bad. I also had to go through the same shit every new player/recruit went through where the hardcore dudes are gearing up their 8th toon and your getting outbid on your only toon. So it's all just a thing to me.

I had a blast gearing a 46 warrior just to xp to 60 and never tanked a raid mob - had top end (not necessarily BiS) gear in every slot when I was "done."
