I was born and raised in Utah with a highly mormon upbringing.
While I do agree the mormon/lds religion is corrupt, I'm SO thankful for the culture it raised me in.
I didn't realize how awesome it was until I moved out of state, and recognized how fucking mean and cold most people were.
Yeah, sure, most of utah/mormon culture is painting on a "fake" face of kindness, but tbh, I'll take that over a culture where nobody speaks to one another and everyone is cold af to anyone they don't know.
Traveling to other states and countries showed me that, while definitely not perfect, mormon culture is top tier.
Jesus is the way. Just, unfortunately, truth still breeds corruption.
My life before knowing Jesus was the most lonesome feeling ever. I resented the christian religions because my brother was gay and I didnt think he deserved damnation because of it. I don't want that for any of you, I don't want that for anyone else here on earth. Idk why Jesus came to me exactly, but I do know he's real. I do know he's going to get us back home, and spare us from death. I just don't know how to share that with other people.
