I'm soloing a Paladin right now and I'd strongly suggest getting some CHA gear and probably not going dwarf. Being able to split is pretty clutch.

Idk about that a dorf with the cultural armor that has str/sta/wis can be at like 200 str and nearly 200 sta unbuffed with moderate twinkage which is a huge advantage with a pretty solid mana pool.
I'd just put 20 into cha and then have stuff like lumi sword & big cha items for the important lulls.
