Out of curiosity, would you mind answering the following questions ? :
- What were you doing between landing malosini and the beginning of the fight ? Swapping spells and building up mana to engage full mana / full life ?
- Any reason for not being hasted ?
- Any reason for not using your pet to add extra dps ? |
I actually first went to SolB to try out rooting fire giants with both Malosini and Tash-stick Tash and pulled the two that people don't usually kill. I killed one of them and then tried out some roots on the other; the roots lasted an average of about 1.5 seconds. It was at this point that I got the idea to make a no-pet DPS video, so I gave myself some time to med up and let the FG regen back to 100% (which couldn't have happened with the pet). I was actually AFK some of this time cooking and on the phone, so that is why it took me a while to get around to killing this fire giant. I went without haste here because it would result in less procs per swing and I wanted to see more of those procs landing immediately after JBB.
