Enchanters are pretty common at the high end. I seem to remember Uthgaard posting something that said 1/6 L55+ characters was an enchanter [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Personally if I was joining a new server I'd go Monk. Solid class from 1-60 with fun abilities and you can never have too many monks for your raid. I think my iksar warrior will be straight up worse than a monk - the only reason I'm playing him is I just want to try something different. |
While there may be alot of enchanters on people's character select screen, apparently they aren't being played much/people are on alts/got sick of it or take your pick...because I was FLOODED with requests to join groups throughout the majority of my leveling.
Fortunately for enchanters, 1 in 6 people in a group should be an enchanter...and some are out soloing, so the game can support quite a few of them. Beyond that, it's pretty easy to notice the difference between a crappy enchanter and a good one, so if you perform well you'll get plenty of tells even when /role or /anon.
