REGINA -- Regina police arrested a 73-year-old man for public intoxication at a downtown mall Friday morning.
Police were dispatched to the Cornwall Centre at 11:20 a.m. and made the arrest, spokeswoman Lara Guzik said.
The CBC reported Friday that the intoxicated man was the mall’s Santa. The person who answered the guest services telephone refused to comment late Friday afternoon.
