Supporting claim: I never had a root or snare casted on me while I was geared by an intelligent player in Kunark. There was no hope of it ever landing. It was used widely on pets, but a resist magic on the pet would drastically change the ability for root to land.

Now here's a great statement. Pretty sure we didn't have to because it was obvious that root just didn't land, therefore little reason to test. You acknowledge it was a short period and then expect screen shots of people parsing root resistance as proof. More Nihi BS lolz.

Right now at about 160 MR unbuffed I can say that i resist about 80% of roots. That being said the resists come in waves, then you get rooted in the middle of nowhere. But that's the dice roll system.

If it was a 1 in 5 shot to land a full length root on someone, we all woulda been spamming it on live. Buuuuuuuuut we weren't. Further, if it did land it would last maybe a tick or break instantly.
