From the get-go most were under the assumption that it shouldn't be allowed.
Soon this little thread popped up regarding
live side zone out in Guk in which there was talk about how it was a "classic" feature on Live and therefore legit. People were told to
stop petitioning about it.
But the last thing I saw about it was some yellow text stating it was not allowed. /shrug There is no official response in this
bug thread.
