The tunare initiate seems the only useful of this 3 items.....does the quest work so far that i can get the Initiate?
Edit: Just found out its only self only haste.
So whats the deal about those items i dont see any of them are useful?
Ok maybe a free root is not that bad but the root is still worse than our normal root. Do i miss anything ?

Yes. Clicky root - so effectively a 9th spell slot, with Root always available.
OOM while kiting that red mob? Root it and sit and repeat until you have enough mana to finish him. Or Root him and med up to Gate. Or Root and run.
All the while having 8 slots available for your other spells.
