Except people haven't been making quit posts for the last five months because orcs don't have pink skin, they have however, been making quit posts because the EXP was too slow for an emulated PVP server with a prime time pop of ~55-60.

There will always be someone crying on forums for attention, which is the entire reason for a "quit post". How about your buddy IronLion? Posts 1 million times. Deletes toon like a 4 year old breaking his transformer. Posts 1 million more doom and gloom rants. Begs admins to reinstate toon, then cries that someone isn't there to undo his stupidity. And he couldn't even make 40.

Most players voted for a smaller XP buff than we actually got, and since XP buff did nothing to increase population, it is only logical to accept that slow xp was not a root cause for people leaving. It also follows that any proposal which does not, after implementation, slow or counter the momentum of the server towards lower population is also not addressing a root cause.
If you really had any idea what you were talking about, you wouldn't need to skew/exaggerate the the population numbers. Population is regularly high 70s to low 80s at prime time, not 55-60. Less than 1 month ago it was 100-115 when we got a temporary boost from the last cure-all solution.

When people whine and cry for a change, get the change, and then just find something new to whine and cry about, it is because they just like to whine and cry. It's called acting out, it's an emotional response, and has nothing to do with any reasonable cause. You bitch all the time and you haven't even hit a hell level yet. I'm sure someone who can't handle 2.5 hr levels has some really valuable insight into why XP is too slow.
Personally, I am enjoying the 2500+ online and no level restriction, open world PvP that Tera offers. I spend more time thinking about making sure my guild wins its war than the issue that 2 of the 7 race choices are styled after anime.

The only thing at this point that will rejuvenate the server is Kunark. Nothing less. Nothing more... Classic EQ cannot stand on it's own, regardless of the ruleset, it's boring.

I used to agree. Kunark made EQ a much, much more interesting game and it would give the people who can't handle dungeon leveling some viable outdoor zones. But as far as PvP goes, the thought of 100 people spread out over 2 continents is pretty depressing. I think there is a good chance that those of us who were red on live just expect a more competitive and dynamic environment than an emu server may ever be able to reproduce. As I said in my last post, the staff has done their reasonable best to provide us with a quality EQ replice, but they can't undo the changes that time has made to player demographics.
