He spawns in the correct spot- and in the hill/sphinx area he wonders it is correct- however he does indeed wonder out of that "Platue area with the evil sphinx- aka where the frog town is eventualy set up" now THAT I cannot say is 100% classic- as on live when I wanted him he was always wondering just around that platue- on here he goes outside and wonders around the HG mount area etc etc then back to that platue and circles around.

I think you just answered every question about pathing in this thread. My guess would be he paths in the (as of now on Live, FORMER) hill giant area, due to the fact that the place he USED to spawn and path is where the froggies went....and a mob of that magnitude that's KoS in what is basically a starting city even Sony acknowledges is idiotic.
Odds are it's where he is on Live now, and is on PEQ, and he never got changed back for P99.
