I played EQ1 many many years ago, quitting just after velius came out. However, I was a wood elf, and I was 12 years old when I started, so I remember absolutely nothing.

I'm currently running around in circles in Halas under the name Damress trying to figure out if I can buy spells, what I should train, and how the hell to get out of the city to fight anything. It's a nightmare being so far from the areas I was comfortable with.

Can anyone help?
