this happens all the time to me on my necro but only in TT not EJ, like cala said it acts like you're de-sync'd where you can't cast or do any "world" commands like tells/guild/etc. once it happens it takes logging in and out a bunch of times, as in more than 3 or 4 at the minimum before you can actually interact with game
