I saw it in that 3d 48fps and I would not recommend it. Although my family didn't have the same issue, it felt like the whole thing was in fast forward to me. P.S. I was upset at the riddle telling between Bilbo and Golem, "time, time" was a cry for more time with the riddle, not his actual guess [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] And also when they saw the camp of trolls (I believe they were trolls), I thought I remembered that Bilbo mimicked their voices from behind the trees to cause them to bicker, but I didn't catch that in the movie. Bilbo was played as far too much of a hero rather than the well-to-do good natured hobbit who happens to have a spark in him. /shrug Everyone's interpretation will be different though I suppose.

Well with regards to the troll scene, thats not really up for interpretation, they completely changed it from how it was in the book. Although there is always some adaptation for movies from books so thats not really that surprising. I agree that the overall feel of bilbo in the movie was more of a hero than just a clever "tricky" type character.
