Please post the following information in this thread. Trying to narrow down what the issue with this may be.

Also, before posting, please try to connect to your character using another PC, either on the same network or on another, and let us know what happened in this thread.


Your operating system
Your pcs technical specs:
Processor
motherboard
soundcard
videocard
network adapter
Your ISP (internet service providor)
The model of your router/modem
Any other possible relevant information (running special networking software/any special software, in particular antivirus/firewall programs, or anything that is messing with your network in anyway)


And lastly, please be patient. As of yet, I'm not sure what the issue with this is, but I'm trying.
