I played a woof elf ranger on live and never knew that it was a "bad" choice. I never had anyone not want me in a group. I was always welcomed because I had snare and could lull as a puller. Pretty much this. Nobody really cared about hybrid penalties in groups. After all, we were all sharing one common goal, to level and have fun while doing it.
Majority of us were very young back then and didn't look into the mechanics of the game so much as we do now.
Someone just posted a program they made to calculate experience in a group setting, I mean really?
