They are alot more resilient than ya think, and it should just easily come right up, and then gently slides right back in.. its scary if ya have never done it.. once ya do it once.. ya will toss them around like its nothing.

If your able to recreate EQ from 1999 your able to take out and put back in your CPU. Just don't sneeze
[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. As X said the pins are stronger then you think. Ive had to bend a few pins back in place on occasion i just use a flathead screwdriver to line it back up in place with the pins next to it.
