As a Shaman, while having a pet up, I noticed that when my pet and whatever he is hitting is more than about 15 yards away I cannot see his damage. What's odd is I can see him getting missed and him missing but can't see any of the damage being dealt. I know that for players I can see this information from a much larger range. I'd really like to be able to see this information without having to sit right on top of the pet.

Is this a bug with pets? Is there a setting or option that I am missing? Or is this just how it was due to client bug or programming?
