I watched the first 4 minutes before I got bored, and it seems to me that her hurt feelings and predictable argument are at least a decade too late; there seem to be female heroines in most games now. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with the "damsel in distress" thing. Women in media can and often should be portrayed as weak, because real women are sometimes weak. It's definitely a cartoony stereotype, but then so is the meathead hero that goes out and rescues her with brute force instead of thinking things out.
I guess she's worried about the impact this might have on young children, but any impact a video game can have is dwarfed when compared to the power parents wield. Her crusade seems misguided at best.
