Perhaps you aren't reading enough of the posts. Check out the thank you thread. There's countless stories of generosity. The fact is people like to bitch. Doesn't matter what video game, what hobby, what forum community - people like to complain. When you look up reviews of a restaurant you are more likely to see negative reviews because who takes the time to write a positive review anyway? Nobody.

Somebody gave me an Axe of the Slayers, sent me a tell 3 zones away. When I first started out, I had nearly a full set of bronze armor that somebody gave me for free just because my friend and I were getting back into the game. A necro gave me 120pp for 2 stacks of bone chips because I carried them all the way out to South Ro from EC at level 6. I'm constantly getting buffs for free without even asking, it's nice to see somebody just gave me a DS or haste just because they're passing by. It happens all the time.

I haven't been in a group yet that has denied hybrids or people with experience penalties from joining. That's just speculation on the part of people making a mountain out of a mole hill. To be honest if somebody is so concerned about precious experience that they can't afford to have a tiny bit less because there's a Troll SK in the group, I don't want to group with that uptight asshole. Point is there are plenty of fun-loving NICE folks on P99 and THEY ROCK, you just see the most negativity on the forums because people like to bitch.
