I'm tired of hearing people offer donations for whatever it may be. This is stupid. Offering a donation is like saying "hey I want what you have for free, and once you give it to me, I'll be nice enough to give you some money." If you want what someone has, and you think that some plat or whatever will be the difference between you getting it and not getting it, then offer to pay this person what you would have donated. Giving up a SoW or a Clarity is generally pretty damn easy and inexpensive; you really should just politely ask.
