I understand most people want a wrapper to emulate Windows, but honestly, I have Bootcamped a separate SSD (swapped out the DVD drive for it - it's a fairly simple process), and am running "native" installs of both Windows 7 and OSX. As a gamer who also loves Macbook Pros, it's the only option IMO. Solves all the issues you guys are having here, and you get the best performance the machine is capable of as there is no overhead.

You can also just partition the default drive and Bootcamp the partition (Mac's Disk Drive utility is great and has no trouble with this).
