Root is garbage because it's unreliable. Server ticks happen very 6 seconds and root breaks are checked every server tick. So you could land your root 0.1 second before a server tick and it could break on that server tick. However if you are able to land root and it doesn't break instantly,. The -mr (malo) should help with the break checks.
And then sometimes the server just gives you the middle finger and says haha your spell was interrupted fk you hope you died this is p99 hardcore classic everquest bitch, haynar and nilbog say hello, to your corpse! *breaths deeply*

I've leveled a shaman, I feel your pain. Just gotta roll with the punches and try not to make threads like this. You may draw unwanted attention from negative unhelpful people.
