In your video you linked the people wearing the breastplates of eradication show them with the classic plate bp graphic. Your Afterlife evidence however is a lot better. I think the patch to change the graphic happened some time in late Aug or early Sept of 2001 from what I can tell.

Yeah I was actually thinking about this since around that time alot of other items also recived velious textures, so im pretty certain your correct.
