if you just want plat make a bard and swarm to 60 then powerlevel people
necro is a good all around farmer but cant take out specific high value targets and brings nothing to something like farming fungi or guardian wyrms
enchanter can be damn near naked and farm anything a shaman or necro can, and brings something to groups that farm fungi/guardian wyrms etc
shaman can solo camps necro can not, but requires a massive investment of plat for malo/torp/bane/epic
