New York City recently held their primary and allowed for mail in voting.
Here are just a few of the things that went wrong.
- Discarded for minor errors
- Disqualified due to lack of postmark
- USPS unable to handle the sharp increase
- Difficulty processing some correctly
- No signature or use of tape makes them invalid
- Some Not sent to voters until the last day before
- Extremely lengthy counting process compared to in-person voting
