Hospice had nothing to do with the diagnosis and eventual passing of their child, it was a service utilized to help ease those suffering.
Without it you'd have people suffering until their last breath, sometimes even alone. Hospice is a great service and those Hosp[ice workers are some of the bravest and most caring workers out there.
