So, were a few days in? Thinking of rerolling? Already rerolled?
I might. Who knows. I might condense my Ranger/Cleric combo into just a Druid, and be part of the Druid army. Or just a Cleric.
All I know is, the life of a Ranger is a hard ass one. I will probably try a few more days to press on, but that 40% is real. I'm only level 12, and i've been wasting way too much time playing.
The real difficulty isn't so much the penalty alone, but the drama it brings. Ive only ever been demonstrably denied once outright for a Rogue that I know of. Also, two other groups got angry over a Ranger being in their group making the leveling slower. Some bickering has broken out and I get concerned that will make it tougher to find groups with anyone who got involved after, etc. This is compounded by the minor camp issues that come up from overpopulation, unrelated to the class, but adds difficulty to groups. Most of my groups have been outdoor though. Dungeons are a crapshoot right now.
Couple things changing my mind:
As a Druid I know automatically i'd be around level 15 I believe if I performed as I did on the Ranger with the experience totals, but the kit is a little easier to solo with too starting at 14.
As a Cleric everyone will want me and its still a fun class for me to play (I like all roles basically), and im sure any bickering will be forgotten easily ;D
So I might reroll. I might not.
Anyone run into issues with your initial class choice?
