My kneejerk reaction is to think this guy is a weirdo, but I mean.. weeaboos and people like Snapcaster exist. My best friend was enamored by French culture. My sister really has a thing for Spanish guys. It's probably less weird to fall in love with and want to belong to another culture than the impression this article gives.
